Terms and Conditions

Check IN

  1. Check-in time is not before 2pm on the arrival date and check out time is not later than 10am on departure date. Early check in or late departure is subject to prior arrangement and availability and extra charges may apply.

  2. Any damage loss or expense incurred by the Owner as a result of your breach of these Terms & Conditions will be charged against your credit card. They include (but are not limited to) any breakage (beyond for example a broken drinking glass etc) , damage or excess cleaning requirements, extra Guests or Visitors beyond those declared.

  3. As you are sharing this property with other guests, parties are strictly prohibited. Noise is to be kept to a normal level and quiet hours between 10pm and 8am should be observed. We will be as accommodating as possible with our guests however we do have to make sure that all our guests can enjoy their time and are not affected by some. We will not hesitate to ask you to leave if your behaviour becomes loud, obnoxious or offensive in any way. Breach of this condition may result in immediate termination and eviction without refund and extra charges for security, cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. All costs relating to the termination and eviction will be borne by you.

  4. You are responsible for damage, breakages, theft and loss of the Property and any part of it during your stay. You must notify us of this immediately. Repair or replacement costs may be recovered using your credit card

  5. Only the guests nominated and agreed to in the Booking may stay in the Property overnight. If any other guests stay an extra charge will apply. If management has not been informed about this and agreed to it a 200$ penalty per extra guest per night will apply or the agreement may be terminated without refund.

  6. Disturbance to neighbours, including excessive noise is prohibited and may result in termination and eviction without refund. All costs relating to the termination and eviction will be borne by you.

  7. Upon vacating, please turn off all lights, heaters, air conditioners and other electrical appliances that have been turned on during your stay.

  8. Late departure without previous approval by the management will incur a fee of 50% of the nightly rate on the day of departure.

  9. You are responsible for the safekeeping and replacement of accommodation keys. If keys are lost during your stay, all replacement costs will be borne by you.

  10. Smoking is not permitted on the Property.

  11. No additional mattresses, tents or caravans are permitted in the property or on the grounds at any time.

  12. We will endeavour to have the property in good working order; however, we cannot guarantee every aspect of the property and especially items which can be inherently temperamental - electronics, Wi-Fi, television reception, barbecues. We will endeavour to fix non-functioning items as soon as possible.

 

Check Out

 

  1. Check out is at 10:00 am. Kindly let us know when you checked out, it helps us get the cleaning done faster. If you’re leaving before 9 am please pop your keys into the beige mailbox outside of reception.

  2. Feeling like you’d like a bit more time in the morning? For late check out inquiries please contact the reception. 

  3. Feeling like you don’t want to leave? From your third night onwards, we have great discounts for you (e.g. third night 50% off). Again, please contact reception directly.
     

  4. Dishes:
    We kindly ask that you leave your cottage in a clean state with the dishes washed, dried and put away. If you require an additional tea towel please get one from reception. We have plenty. If you need to check out a little bit later because you’re still doing your dishes that is okay. If you have dishes which you aren’t able to clean with the equipment provided (burnt pot or glass casserole that just doesn’t want to get clean) please leave them in the sink so we can find them easily. We do not provide metal sponges after one too many pan needed replacement. 
     

  5. Windows: 
    Please leave your fly screened windows in the living/dining area open upon departure. It’ll get hot/cold but also fresh. Kindly ensure your heater and heating blankets are turned off when leaving.
     

  6. Rubbish: 
    Just leave your rubbish in your bin. Please do not put the tied-up rubbish bags on your porch or deck. Our cockatoos are always faster than us and make a huge mess.
     

  7. We reserve the right to charge for excess cleaning costs due to excess cleaning requirements.
